There’s nothing quite like the classic combination of black and white — but I had to give it a fun twist, of course, with my mirrored blue Ray Bans. My parents gave me this lovely BCBG top for Christmas and I absolutely love it because it will go with everything — colored jeans, printed shorts, neon bags, you name it. What did you all get for Christmas? Let me know on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

For what seems like years now I’ve been lusting over Equipment blouses, and I finally got my first for Christmas this year. I’m excited about it for two reasons — one, they’re pretty effortlessly chic and go with anything, and two, it nicely fulfills my New Year’s resolution of wearing more color. Read this post and more of my thoughts on Kakaako.com. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
Tiffany & Co. is one of the few places that still makes me feel like a kid in a candy store each time I walk through its pretty silver doors. So you can imagine how excited I was when they told me they had a Christmas present for me this year. When I went to pick it up they let me try on their new Atlas collection, a sophisticated line of necklaces, pendants, earrings, bangles and rings in a variety of metals including 18K yellow, rose or white gold and sterling silver with diamonds. I was sad when I had to take off the jewelry, but so grateful that I was gifted with a deliciously chic Atlas bar bracelet all wrapped up in their iconic Tiffany Blue Box. But don’t take my word for it, view the whole collection for yourself here. These are a few of the behind the scenes photos, and I’ll be sure to post a few more later this week. Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas!

One of my favorite things about the holidays is getting to dress up for all of the festive parties. And while traditional holiday attire calls for red, green, and metallics, I tend to think that all jewel tones are fair holiday game, like this teal jumpsuit. I had two holiday parties this weekend, a date night with my man, some last minute Christmas shopping, and lots and lots of watching the TV show Scandal. Here’s hoping I’ll finally get my life back when I run out of episodes of that show! Hope you had a lovely weekend.
Just a couple of photos from the “Kamaaina Christmas” event I attended last Saturday. Any time I get to break out my favorite Alexander McQueen gown, I’m pretty much in heaven. Today’s technically the weekend for me since my company is having spa day tomorrow at a local hotel. Hope you all have an amazing weekend!
Since it’s my fashion New Year’s resolution to wear more color, I threw on this electric blue skirt this weekend for an easy day-to-night look. This weekend was pretty low-key — lots of sleeping in, eating take out Japanese food and getting completely sucked in by the TV show Scandal. If you’ve never watched the show, don’t do it unless you’ve got lots of time to spare…it’s completely addicting. Hope you had an amazing weekend!

The funny thing about fashion blogging is that you end up learning so much about your own personal style throughout the process. It’s an ironic kind of self reflection that I’ve come to love. In my head, I wear tons of color all the time. After going through a few pages of my blog, I realize that I am completely wrong and that I stray way more toward black and neutrals. In my head I also think I wear tons of different pieces and never repeat. In reality, I’m a creature of comfort when it comes to fashion and I think I’ve only displayed about one thirtieth of my closet. I think I just found two fashionable new year’s resolutions: more color, more variety. What are your fashionable resolutions? Let met know on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!

I love a good high-low skirt, especially one that’s made out of crazy soft jersey material. It’s so versatile–pair it with a slouchy white t-shirt and flat sandals for a day look, or a crop top and booties at night. It’s been a crazy week but I’m happy to say that this is my first blog post written from my new MacBook air. My other one died on me and this is my early Christmas present from Holden. Hooray!! Hope you’re all having a nice Tuesday.

One of the things I love about shopping while traveling is that each time I wear something I bought, it brings me right back to the place I bought it. I picked up this dress in Seoul, Korea (man I miss that place) while shopping on Meyongdong Street, and I splurged on this Balenciaga bag at Barney’s in Las Vegas. This dress is simple in the front and party in the back, but I think it could easily transition from day (maybe with a blazer or leather jacket) to night. Hope you all enjoy your Friday night!
I have a fashion crush on Miranda Kerr. Her outfits seem thought out from head to toe, and they give me inspiration daily…I only wish it were cold enough here to wear this gorgeous coat. Steal her style with the pieces below. Happy Thursday!
1. Printed Halter Dress, Mango
2. Aviator, Ray-Ban
3. Wool-Blend Cape, Chloé, less expensive option here
4. The Skater Belt, MinkPink
5. The Highland Boot, Stuart Weitzman
